What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Purpose
In order to maintain our business and provide good service to our customers, we need to collect some personal data.
We collect and store personal data in order to fulfill agreements with our customers.
In addition, personal data is stored for billing and marketing purposes.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the information displayed in the comment form as well as the visitor’s IP address and user agent string to help detect spam messages.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash value) may be sent to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are registered there. The privacy policy for the Gravatar service can be found at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will appear publicly along with your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images where the EXIF data includes GPS location data. Visitors to the website can download and retrieve all positioning data from images on the website.
Contact form
The data you enter in the contact form will be forwarded for feedback. We also collect your name, email address, telephone number, message, IP address, etc. in connection with you contacting us or shopping in our webshop.
Webshop
When you shop with us, we store your personal data within our internal systems. You can find out which data we store about you directly on the web and request deletion, see the paragraph next to the bottom of this page. (Disclosure of information).
In our webshop, data such as name, address, e-mail, date of birth, postal code, telephone number, but not exclusively, may be processed for order fulfillment purposes. After a successful purchase, an order history is also saved, which you can always view on your pages.
Cookie files
If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website address in cookie files. This is for your convenience so that you don’t have to fill in this information again the next time you post a comment. These cookies are valid for one year.
If you have an account and log in to this website, we will create a temporary cookie file to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie file does not contain any personally identifiable information and disappears when you close your browser.

Legal basis for collection and retention period

- When you place an order in our webshop, we save your data for up to 36 months. In addition, by law we must save your data for 7 years.
- If you contact us by e-mail, your data will be saved until we receive a request from you to delete your data.
The above time periods only apply if you actively end your relationship as a customer to pingdash AB but do not request deletion yourself, as long as pingdash AB and you have an active customer relationship, we will save your data as long as this relationship continues.
Who we share your data with
We share your information with third party providers to fulfill our obligations to you. We must disclose your information to, for example, shipping companies or payment providers.
How long we keep your data
If you write a comment, the comment and its metadata will be saved indefinitely. The reason for this is that we need to be able to find and approve follow-up comments automatically and not queue them for review.
For users who register on our website (for example the web shop), we also save the personal data you enter in your user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (with the exception that they cannot change their username). Even site administrators can see and edit this information.

If we don’t agree
The technical solution on which our store rests meets GDPR requirements both in terms of security and fulfillment of data subject’s rights.
Our supplier also provides an agreement where they undertake to fulfill the requirements set by the GDPR.
